As we expand our presence in Madison, Wisconsin, we're seeking an experienced architect to play a pivotal role not just in designing innovative spaces but in helping lead and shape the future of our new office.
As a seasoned architect at our Madison location, you'll lead design efforts across various markets. Your work will focus on creating versatile, collaborative environments that enhance the well-being of individuals. Beyond your design responsibilities, you'll serve as a mentor within the office, helping nurture the team's growth and the office itself. This dual focus on design excellence and office development offers a unique opportunity to influence both our projects and our practice at a fundamental level.

Essential Job Functions
Collaboration with multiple disciplines, clients and the publicĀ
Serve as mentor and resource for junior-level staff
Direct the development of design ideas from conceptual planning phases through design detailing and construction administration
Produce presentations that communicate our design knowledge, inspire our clients and effectively communicate design solutions
Requirements
Possess strong leadership, written and verbal skills to instill confidence and trust in our clients and staff
Serve as a resource for our Madison office, helping to grow RDG's brand and market share
Critical thinking collaborator with excellent soft skills, relationship and executing strengths
Sound drafting, design communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated history of building long-term relationships with team members and clients
Able to develop successful strategies for helping to complete work on time and budget
Proficient in Revit, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office applications
Education & Experience
7-15 years of professional work experience with a background in architecture
Licensed Wisconsin architect or the ability to acquire certification and licensure required
Construction detailing, materials and construction administration field experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Past project management experience in planning and developing projects from the conceptual design phase through construction documentation
